JAMES LOCKE, Superintendent
James joined MKB in 2019 and brings with him more than three decades of experience in the building industry. James began his career in residential home building as a frame and trim carpenter in the Tampa Bay area in 1987. He went on to work on projects at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Universal’s Islands of Adventure for Sightline Studios. This allowed him to truly develop and showcase his unique attention to detail and design. His skills and experience eventually lead him to a project at the Grove Park Inn in 2000. He has lived in the Asheville area ever since.
James has been involved with green builders in both a residential and commercial capacity and had worked locally at The Ramble and Champion Hills before coming to MKB.
In addition to his experience in the building industry, James dabbles in acting and is a personal aircraft pilot. He enjoys taking in the stunning Blue Ridge Mountain views from the cockpit of a plane.
