At sixteen years old, Ron Parks began working during summers, pouring and mucking concrete. He soon became a concrete form-setter and finisher, then moved on to applying siding and trim on the exterior of homes. This then led to remodeling homes, which led to building homes. He now has a total of nearly forty years in the construction industry, of which, the last thirty years he spent building and designing high-end homes.
Ron says that construction becomes more enjoyable as he gets older, because his extensive background and experience make building so much easier. Our clients have placed a great responsibility on us by choosing MKB to build their home. It is his great pleasure to earn their trust by dealing fairly and honestly with them throughout the home-building process. His end goal is to make building their custom home an enjoyable experience for everyone.
Ron enjoys most outdoor activities and has owned horses since his twenties. One of his greatest enjoyments is Cowboy Mounted Shooting: Holstering two six-guns and riding into an arena shooting five balloon targets with one gun, holstering that gun and drawing the second gun shooting the five remaining balloon targets as you exit the arena riding your trusted horse as fast as he can run. Ron says, “I was born a hundred years too late.”
