A native to North Carolina, Randall Wilson grew up in the Hickory-Morganton area. He has a comprehensive background in financial management. Randall streamlines operations by applying continuous improvement methods.
Morgan-Keefe Builders welcomed Randall on board in February 2021 as the chief steward of the company’s financial health. He oversees the Finance-Accounting-Administrative functions.
Randall started his professional accounting career at Ernst and Young. Afterward, he held positions at Corning Cable Systems in accounting, audit, budget and operations, and controller management. He then spent 20 years in financial and organizational executive leadership roles. These were in distribution and vertically integrated manufacturing companies. Randall also planned and directed several large-scale commercial and industrial build-outs and new construction projects at Corning, Friitala, McCrorie, and Star Snax.
Randall has extensive experience in financial management and the execution of large-scale construction projects’ legal contracts. He has highly technical training and experience in finance, leadership, and operations process improvement. Additionally, Randall grew up working in his uncle’s building supply company and at Lowes Hardware while in college.
Randall graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business and accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Business. He is a member of the CFO Council and the Institute of Management Accountants. There, he also served as Education Director of the Catawba Valley Charter. In addition to sitting on many civic and charitable committees, Randall has served on the Board of Directors of Friitala Leather Company, International Textile Manufacturers Association, and Hickory Metro Sports Commission (Chairman).
Randall and his family enjoy many outdoor activities together, including snow and water skiing, hiking, golf, tennis, and kayak fishing.
