This home has several artful features that showcase the natural beauty of the area. Locally sourced, reclaimed barn wood ceilings spread throughout the upper level and continue onto the porch ceiling, visually uniting the spaces. Custom cabinets were built out of the same reclaimed ceiling material and custom hickory cabinets can be found in the kitchen. The upper level features walls covered in pine nickel gap, stained with natural colors and accented by heavy timbers and bright white trim. The master bedroom and bath are full of light, welcoming you to your oasis, complete with a jet soaker tub.
Owners Mike and Kathy had the opportunity to visit a local metal artist’s studio to have their custom kitchen hood built. They were able to select their desired finish and see his craftsmanship up close.
