Fine Homebuilding Magazine has recently showcased the Black Dog Farm kitchen in their 2018 Kitchen and Baths issue! Designed by the talented Samsel Architects and brought to life by Morgan-Keefe Builders, these experienced professionals have demonstrated their dedication to creating a work of art that is perfectly in line with the client’s vision.

The homeowners envisioned a centralized kitchen arranged specifically for the togetherness of their large family. It’s circled by and connected to two sitting areas that allow for a very simple and open feel. Rather than having overhead cabinets, there are three islands, with the stove on the middle island. The central cooking area makes it easy to move around with ease and efficiency, and the large windows provide an abundance of natural light and views of the mountains from the lounge areas.

This setup has fostered the perfect environment for sharing time with and appreciating company. Even if several family members are busy cooking in the kitchen, they can still enjoy good conversation and laughter with those enjoying the scenic views from the sofa!
