Starting with only a few tools and a passion for quality, Malcolm Morgan and a college friend founded Morgan-Keefe Builders in 1980 in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Today, MKB is a multimillion-dollar company and one of the most respected luxury custom home builders in Western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.

Early on, a crucial turning point came when MKB built its first speculative home. That home sold quickly, more homes followed, and a successful momentum was generated as word quickly spread about the company’s high standards, professionalism and superior level of craftsmanship.

Over the decades, MKB has assembled a team of skilled professionals and craftspeople who specialize in attention to detail and client service. From site preparation to laying the last tile, each employee is dedicated to the company’s core principles of integrity, quality and accountability.
